25 Journaling Prompts for the Self

Updated: Apr 6, 2022

If you've been to our Writing Veranda, you know our structure. We give you three prompts and you pick one. And if you haven't, that's alright, because we're bringing a piece of Writing Veranda to you! We humbly present you with a compilation of prompts from MindTerra’s Writing Veranda that are related to the self.

Every now and then, we need to pause and take a moment for introspection, so take a look at our Writing Veranda reflective prompts to ground down and listen to what’s in your mind. We recommend setting aside at least 10 minutes to sit with these and see what arises. If you like to write to music, we've curated a MindTerra playlist for you here! So, grab your journal and pen, pick a prompt, set aside any distractions, and write!
