About the Event

If your body could speak, what would it say? This Writing Veranda is dedicated to our relationships with our bodies - past, present, or future. Together, we will write, share, and listen to the stories that our bodies have been holding onto in a loving and judgment-free space. Writing prompts will be provided, but attendees are encouraged to modify these prompts or come up with their own to welcome a diverse range of thoughts and conversations, including, but not limited to: how we talk about our bodies, beauty standards, body dysmorphia, ableism, disability, and growth and aging. Please join us - all you need is something to write on and yourself.

This June session will be hosted by ShanShan Guo.
